There is a joy in belonging, but there can also be tensions and strife in any close family. Some family members are alike whilst others seem to be made of different stuff. It is this dynamic within the family group which fascinates me – belonging, though feeling isolated; together, but alone; happy, yet sad; being supported whilst being opposed.
